NEW Vetiver & Grapefruit collection of Molton Brown

Molton Brown, London’s fragrance experts, construct an alchemy of nature’s fragrant contradictions with their new Vetiver & Grapefruit Collection.

The foundations of this distinctive fragrance are shared with that of modern architecture, challenging the rules of composition. The scent is an innovative reconstruction of a classic cologne, building tension with nuanced vetiver and unexpected, piercing grapefruit.

Molton Brown have procured the finest vetiver from Haiti; this versatile ingredient takes form as the earthy base note, which collides and fuses with vibrant grapefruit, accentuating the friction whilst also finding a cultivated balance.

“Vetiver & Grapefruit has been skillfully constructed to play on contrasting aromatic materials: the warm sophistication of Haitian vetiver conflicts with the cool, tonic freshness of grapefruit resulting in a tense union. A closer look at vetiver oil reveals subtle grapefruit undertones – just enough to relieve this tension and convey a sense of effortless elegance. Enriched by the juiciness of lychee, floral accents of neroli and rose and livened up by the spice of white pepper and cardamom, the fragrance is highly addictive.”  – Virginie Daniau, Fragrance Expert.

To interpret the architectural collision of their new fragrance, Molton Brown have collaborated with rising designer Peter Tarka, a specialist in pioneering 3D imagery. Peter has used abstract CGI shapes and materials to display the ever-present suspense within the fragrance in stunning detail; taking cues from the two lead ingredients, both conflicting and working in harmony.
