Gurhan Jewellery available at Harvey Nichols

An internationally renowned designer Gurhan is available now at Harvey Nichols Dubai with it’s most popular new collections, Pointelle. The collections include round, marquis and pear-shaped pendants and earrings with a cluster of diamonds or coloured stones. There are open designs and also solid, “filled in” versions that feature the brand’s well known hammered surface.

Gurhan is well known for reintroducing 24k gold into the modern world of fine jewellery and more recently expanded into other high carat metals such as 22K gold. Unlike many other designers, Gurhan embraced the challenge of working with these precious metals because he was truly captivated by their properties including the rich colours. The brand is well known for the distinctive hand hammered surface which Gurhan refers to as the fingerprints. Today Gurhan oversees not only the design process, but also the company’s factory workshop where the jewellery continues to be hand made by craftsmen who have been personally trained by the designer himself. Along with his wife and company CEO Fiona Tilley, he has been running the daily operations of the company for more than 20 years from their New York City headquarters.
