Aigner Leather Collection SS18

The Aigner Leather Collection SS18 is inspired by pop art themes, while the vibe of the 1990’s can be felt throughout:  the period’s method of using and combining colour as well as disrupting things and ideas and putting them back together in new ways are the basic principles behind the collection. Playing with contrasts is an important theme: there are sweet, delightful models in bright, clear colours and trendy patterns, as well as tough one’s with rough screws, eyelets and lacing. The contrast continues in the choice of colours: Black and white run through the collection as a basis, among other things in the season’s typographic print. Strong accents are provided by the highlight colours candy pink, raspberry pink and poppy red, alongside spots in true blue, ultra green and sunny yellow. In keeping with the history of the label, the familiar burgundy that is typical for Aigner can also be seen throughout.
