Golden Saxophone Theodore Kerkezos & Elena Christodoulou
Prepare to sit in awe as Greek saxophonist Theodore Kerkezos and concert pianist Elena Christodoulou combine talents for a powerful and elegant recital on Saturday 3 February 2018 at 8pm as part of the Dubai Concert Committee World Classical Music Series.
Theodore Kerkezos has been described as “one of the most astounding performers of the day” by Gramophone as well as an Editor’s Choice” winner. He has been twice nominated for Grammy Awards and has been awarded with the Honorary Doctor of Musical Arts from UNESCO. He has performed and recorded the entire standard repertoire for solo saxophone with the world leading orchestras including the London Symphony, Boston Symphony and appeared at venues such as the Carnegie Hall-New York, Royal Festival Hall and Wigmore Hall. His discography with the Philharmonia, London Symphony and London Philharmonic has won many prestigious awards. In Dubai he will be accompanied by the outstanding Elena Cristodoulou.
