MESSIKA moves NYC
Messika and Gigi Hadid took New York Fashion Week by storm with the launch of their new collection My Soul.
Wednesday 12th September, at Milk Studio in New York City, the Parisian jewelry house Messika and its muse Gigi Hadid hosted a star-studded event to close out New York Fashion Week. Celebrity guests included Tiffany Haddish, Teyana Taylor, Irina Shayk, Jasmine Tookes, Halima Aden, Jordan Barrett, Maria Borges, Poppy and more.
A glamorous rock ambiance in keeping with the new Messika campaign set the mood for the evening. It was directly inspired by the brand campaign shot by Mert and Marcus with Gigi Hadid in New York a few months ago. The 600 guests in attendance danced the night away. First with a surprise musical performance by American singer Teyana Taylor followed by a DJ set by French DJ duo Kartell and Dabeull.
Valerie Messika and Gigi Hadid unveiled their second jewelry collaboration together. Reflecting two strong women, the Messika by Gigi Hadid My Soul line reflects a sensual bohemian style. My Soul marks a new direction from the Move Addiction collection with its decidedly punk rock connotations.
The My Soul collection is available for pre-order on Messika.com beginning September 13, 2018 and will then be available in Messika stores worldwide starting September 30, 2018.
